Backend Developer (Python/Django)

Role Overview:
TechDSF is looking for a talented Backend Developer with expertise in Python and Django to join our team. This role will focus on developing and maintaining powerful backend services, APIs, and database solutions for our web and mobile applications. You’ll work with a collaborative team to build scalable and secure backend systems that enhance our innovative products.
Responsibilities:
- Django Development: Develop and maintain web applications using Django and Python, ensuring smooth functionality and a high level of performance.
- API Development: Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and integrate them into various platforms and third-party services.
- Database Management: Handle database interactions, write complex SQL queries, and optimize database performance using tools such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
- Scalability & Security: Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and able to handle increased user load while maintaining strong data protection standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate features and ensure the best user experience.
- Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit tests, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure the stability and quality of the backend systems.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation on the architecture, features, and integrations of backend systems.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and Django, with a deep understanding of Django’s MVC architecture.
- Experience with Django REST framework for building APIs.
- Strong SQL skills, with experience in databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
- Knowledge of server management, cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud), and deploying Django applications.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, or other version control and continuous integration tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex backend issues.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years experience working with Django and Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or relevant experience in backend development.
